Rolling Stones And Kenny Chesney Announce 2011 Tour Plans

2011 is just around the corner, and both the Rolling Stones and Kenny Chesney have announced plans for 2011 tours.  Yes, fans of both acts can prepare now to save for tickets. It costs a whole lot more these days to head out to a show, especially with some groups. This is the time of year when tour plans are announced though. Bon Jovi announced their own tour plans just last week.

Keith Richards spilled the beans about plans for The Rolling Stones today. The group will not only be touring next year, but they will come together to record all new material. New music from The Stones? That should make fans of the group very happy! The band will start work on the new material in December at the earliest.

Both Richards and Stones front man have Mick Jagger have material ready to work on.  No news on when the band will hit the road, but it will be in 2011. Exciting news for fans of the band. Will they ever retire? Doesn't sound any of them are ready to quit yet! Does anyone want them to though? The old men still know how to rock!

Tour news was also announced for country artist Kenny Chesney. The singer will hit the road starting in March, according to CBS News. As it stands right now, there are nine stadium dates lined up for the tour, but more dates will be added soon. The tour is titled "Goin' Coastal" with tickets going on sale later this month on November 20th. Organizers behind this tour say this will be the biggest tour effort by the singer since 2006. Fans of Chesney should be happy to hear that.

With rising ticket costs and the current state of the economy, it isn't as easy for fans to head out to see their favorite bands. Tickets only seem to cost more and more as time goes on as well. Just like movie theater tickets seem to raise in price year to year, the same can be said about concert tickets. Which of these two acts will take some of your hard earned money in 2011?
