Steve Nash divorce from Alejandra Amarilla - Did Phoenix Suns NBA Star Cheat?

It appears two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash will divorce his wife Alejandra Amarilla.  The Steve Nash divorce news comes days after the birth of his third son with Alejandra announced on November 12th.  The Phoenix Suns All-Star point guard has released just one statement on the matter.

"...this is a bittersweet moment for my wife and I; after five years, we are now in the process of dissolving our marriage. While we have lived separately for the past several months, we remain firmly committed to raising our children in the most positive, nurturing way possible. I want only good things for Ale going forward; right now, I'm focused on ensuring that our children understand how much they're loved and adored by us as they continue to adjust to these changes. I would ask that their privacy, and ours as a family, be respected as we move forward."

The Steve Nash divorce from Alejandra Amarilla comes after they've been married for five years and already had two kids together.  It's surprising to hear of a divorce being announced just days after the birth of a third child too.  However, it's not surprising to hear of an NBA divorce.  You can find multiple examples of them.  Maybe other sports as well.  In the past, Nash was linked romantically to actress Elizabeth Hurley and other models.  He may have even dated a Suns cheerleader or two, although that's likely against team rules.

So is it possible Steve Nash cheated on his wife as many other NBA stars have?  Will Alejandra show up on VH1's "Basketball Wives" along with the ex-wives of Shaquille O'Neal and Antoine Walker?  It could get messy as Nash has generally been considered one of the good guys, although quirky, out of the NBA stars.  Nash, from Canada, has won back-to-back NBA MVP awards and has been on the NBA All-Star team seven times.  Unfortunate news for Nash and Amarilla, so let's hope that they can remain amicable for the sake of the kids!
