Christina Aguilera is ready to move on with her life after filing for divorce from husband Jordan Bratman. She is looking ahead to the future as she promotes her motion picture debut. Aguilera is the star of "Burlesque" along side Cher, Kristen Bell, and Julianne Hough. The musical will be her first time on the big screen.
Right now, her focus is on her two year old son Max, and she is ready to return to the studio! Yes, she plans to use the pain and heartbreak of her divorce in her music. Just earlier this year, she released "Bionic" to lukewarm sales. She even canceled a tour to support the effort. Aguilera is ready to move on from that as well. She isn't going to let one flop stop her from recording new music.
According to AZ Central, she said the following about recording a new album: "Now, I'm in a place where I'm very much in an introspective state of mind, have a lot to say, and have grown leaps and bounds. I'm a changed woman. So, I'm very much ready to make a new record. Nothing is ever a setback. If anything, it just motivates you for what's next."
One would think after a record flop, she would be ready to take a break, but there are times when throwing yourself into your work helps ease the heartbreak of the events in life. With music and songwriting, pain is actually something most musicians use in their lyrics. After the year Aguilera has lived, it is easy to see where she would be ready to jump back into work.
Right now, her focus is promotion for her film release. She attended the "Burlesque" premiere earlier this week, and her appearance was the talk of the town. She looked graceful and elegant and ready to take on the world. Her attitude on life has always been something to admire. She doesn't let much stop her, and this is just another one of those times. Sounds like she has her priorities straight, and she is ready to tackle what comes next!
