Drivers Warned of "Zombies Ahead" With Strange Arizona Road Sign - Was it a Joke?

Drivers were warned of “zombies ahead” on an electronic road sing near Tucson, Arizona. Was the sign an honest mistake, or did some prankster hack into the sign and put the strange message for drivers.

The odd road sign read “Caaution [sic] Zombies ahead!” That is certainly a bizarre think to drive by, and no doubt it caused several drivers to do a double take when the realized just what the sign said. Thankfully, there are not really zombies to worry about in the area. Police believe that the sign was a simple practical joke. In fact, there were no reports of zombies in the region.

Thank goodness! It would have been terrifying for drives to actually see the zombies that the sign warned them about. The prankster didn’t know how to spell, so perhaps police have something to go on if they chose to pursue this case. What would you do if you saw a road sign warning drivers of zombies ahead? It would be seriously strange to say the least.
