Jessica Lynch: "I'm no hero" - Joy Behar Interview Video - The Truth Comes Out

Jessica Lynch stated, "I'm no hero," when she sat down for an interview with Joy Behar on the Joy Behar Show. In the video, Lynch tried to set the record straight and stated the real heroes were her comrades, the ones who were killed in the attack. Lynch was the first POW since WWII.

I Am a Soldier, Too: The Jessica Lynch StoryJessica Lynch is a former Private First Class (PFC) in the United States Army Quartermaster Corps. She was injured and captured in March of 2003 by Iraqi forces and was later rescued by U.S. Special Operations Forces. Lynch received worldwide news coverage and was hailed as a war heroe. However, she never felt like a hero and wanted to set the record straight.

On the Joy Behar Show, Lynch spoke with painful honesty that the real heroes were the ones who had lost their lives fighting against the Iraqi forces. When the ambush took place, her gun actually jammed and she was  knocked unconscious when their vehicle rolled. Lynch stated she had no memory of the incident.

The rest of the interview can be seen on the video clip. No matter how Jessica Lynch feels about the situation and her part in the capture, she survived and to many people, she is still a hero.
