Kanye West Media Trainer Quits! Matt Lauer Interview to Blame: Susie Arons Couldn’t Muzzle the Rapper

Kanye West’s media trainer has made one of the wisest decisions of her career: she quit. Kanye West’s disastrous Matt Lauer interview on Today was clearly the reason the media trainer decided not to work with West any longer.

Who wouldn’t quit? If your job is to be a media trainer and your client performs as terribly as Kanye West did then, that is the worst representation of you and your abilities!

Tragic but let’s be honest, it’s Kanye (big head, chubby cheeks) West! Of course something is going to go wrong. Something always goes wrong when West opens his mouth. This time was even slightly worst than the Taylor Swift incident because Kanye doesn’t have Hennessy to blame for putting his foot in his mouth again.

Apparently, Kanye West’s media trainer, Susie Arons, was hired by Kanye’s people on Monday to help West decide on whether or not to do the Matt Lauer interview. If they all decided it was a go then Arons was to help prep and train West for the interview which was about George Bush. However, everyone unanimously decided it would be best for Kanye West not to do the interview so on Monday night the interview was canceled. Everyone went home and rested happy. Well, everyone but West because he obviously spent Monday night mauling over everyone’s decision and come Tuesday morning, he was at NBC’s Today show studio.

When the media trainer was notified Kanye West was waiting for her, she rushed to the studio to help him prep. The outcome of the interview was a disaster as we all know. It was clear the media trainer did not have enough time with him.

A source said, "West shut himself in a dressing room with Susie, and could be heard rehearsing possible questions and answers. But the interview began, and it was as though he had crammed for a test and then his mind went blank."

Kanye West’s interview was on Tuesday, his media trainer, Susie Arons quit Friday morning. So what would you have done in this situation? It must be really hard to work with someone like Kanye because he’s shown that time and again he can be an extremely difficult person to get along with. It’s not because he’s such a great artist which he clearly is but because he allows his ego and pride to take over.
