NASA Investigates Great Balls of Fire Over Canada - UFOs or Meteors?

NASA is investigating great balls of fire seen swooping over Canada and several states in the U.S. The large fireballs have caused much confusion and speculation because nobody knows what they fiery balls actually are.

However, NASA has some theories. NASA spacecraft Deep Impact was able to take some up close pictures Hartley 2 – the comet that passed very near Earth earlier this week and emits noxious cyanide gas. However, some astronomy experts are not buying the theory that the great balls of fire over Canada actually came from Hartley. Scientist Peter Brown said that the fiery balls’ orbits were not similar enough to Hartley 2.

If Great Balls of Fire Over Canada are not From Hartley 2 are They UFOs?

So, if these great balls of fire that NASA is investigating did not come from the comet then what could they be? The UFOs in the sky over Canada were likely meteors. They were probably actually part of the Taurids meteor shower, which actually come from the comet Encke.

There are sure to be those who believe that these were actually from aliens or some other type of supernatural mystery especially since they happened near Halloween. Were you one of the lucky ones who actually saw the bright fire in the night sky? If you were, what do you think they are? It is exciting to look up and consider all the possibilities when something unusual appears in the night sky.
