Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were supposedly rushed to finish filming the love scenes for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn because director Bill Condon and the studio were worried Pattinson and Stewart might break up.
At first glance, this story seems fishy but after some scrutiny, it completely makes sense.
Executives should make sure Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s love scenes are all taken care off relatively early on in the filming process. What if they do split later on? Even though actors are expected to be professionals, if they must work together on a film following a break up, that would be totally weird to say the least! Imagine trying to get intimate with a recent ex… weird!
Speaking about why Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s love scenes have already been filmed, Bill Condon said, "Often times on films the sex scenes and the intimacy (between actors who are real-life couples) are shot first to get them out of the way ... There's always that ‘Oh s*** factor' - what if they break up and we haven't shot all the intimate stuff yet? It would be awkward for everyone involved."
Condon also noted, the longer and more drawn out the sex scenes took to film, the higher the likelihood of nosy paparazzi getting a shot of the actors on set. That explanation makes complete sense! Plus, add in the cost of the villa which was being rented for the love scenes, $5000 a night, and it’s no wonder they want to finish filming those honeymoon scenes. $5,000 a night is insanely expensive and the quicker production wraps the more money they can save.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart wrapped up their Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn honeymoon scenes recently and headed back to the U.S. on Sunday. Not amazingly, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is taking the Internet by storm just like its predecessors. It will be amazing to see the finished production and to see how much or how little of the love, sex and birth scenes will be included!
