Natalie Portman: New Face of Dior is 'Black Swan' Star

The star of "Black Swan," a critically-acclaimed new movie opening this weekend is Natalie Portman.  She is also the brand new face of Dior, and will be participating in campaigns for its iconic fragrance Miss Dior Cherie.

Add another impressive credential to Natalie's celebrity resume.  The 29-year-old Portman is not only a graduate of Harvard, but also the face behind Queen Amidalia of "Star Wars" fame, and now the face behind a Dior fragrance.  According to Vogue.com of the UK, the stunning Natalie Portman just recently debuted as the new face of Miss Dior Cherie on Wednesday, December 8th, at a media event.  She'll be appearing in a photo print campaign done by photographer Tim Walker as well as a Sophia Coppola directed TV ad which will debut in March 2011.

Originally it had been unknown if Portman would be attached to campaigns for a new fragrance or one of Dior's classics in its perfume line.  Now it appears she represents one of its all time greats.  A fitting choice too, as Portman is one of Hollywood's finest, not only in terms of beauty but also her talents.  Portman has apparently put in a highly-praised performance in the new film "Black Swan," which also stars actress Mila Kunis.

When asked about her own beauty regimine or routine, Portman noted to the press "I'm pretty casual in my beauty routine in my real life," she said, "Some might say sloppy."  Probably not the best answer, but in terms of representing the Dior name, but Natalie Portman certainly cleans up good and looks beautiful with makeup!

Faith Hill Second Fragrance: True, by Coty Debuts! Country Singer Offers Beauty Tips!

Faith Hill has just released her second signature fragrance. Her first scent was released last year and was called, Faith Hill Parfums. The original fragrance represented her country roots, with the scents of crisp pear, peony and magnolia.

Faith Hill’s new scent has hints of lavender, yuzu and gardenia. She was going for more of a “clean and fresh” scent, this time. The fragrance is being released for the holidays and will be called, Faith Hill True, by Coty.

The gorgeous country singer chatted about her fragrance line. She said, “I wanted to create fragrances that were classic and timeless. Scents you could wear everyday, whether you’re at home in your sweats or dressed up for a night out.”

Does anyone wear perfume when they are at home wearing sweats? Maybe some beauty and style lessons should be taken for those of us who are not wearing a fragrance, while being lazy at home!

In the People article, Faith Hill spoke about how she keeps her youthful beauty, at the age of 41. She explained that she moisturizes her entire body from head to toe, every evening before heading to bed for the night. She also explained that she doesn’t forget to moisturize her lips, as well.

Hill also gave us girls a tip to always curl our eyelashes. Again, here is another much needed beauty tip for this writer!
