Congratulation Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza: It's A Girl

Mario Lopez and girlfriend Courtney Mazza have a new baby girl as of Saturday the 11th of September.

According to CBSNews, Courtney Mazza gave birth to baby Gia Francesca Lopez on Saturday September 11. Courtney Mazza and Mario Lopez are the proud parents of baby Gia, who weighed in at 6 pounds and 4 ounces.

Mario Lopez gave the following statement to his co-workers at Extra, regarding the birth of his beautiful new daughter.

"We are so overjoyed," Lopez told Extra. "What an amazing, wonderful and overwhelming experience to welcome our daughter into the world."

Mario Lopez is 36 years old, and Courtney Mazza is 28. The pair met in New York City back in 2008 when they both were appearing in the Broadway version of "A Chorus Line."

Mario Lopez is an actor and dancer, and stars as the host of Extra. His earlier claim to fame includes a run on the TV show "Saved By the Bell" on which he appeared from 1989-1993.

Book on Fatherhood

The Celebrity Cafe reports that Mario Lopez plans to write a book about being a father.

"I was actually looking for a book for a first-time father and couldn't find one. I've decided I'm going to write one of my own,” he told reporters. “Guys want to help, too. “There are tons of books for moms, but dads want to know what's going on with the lady and the baby, both emotionally and physically."

In addition, Lopez is supposedly in the works with VH1 on creating a reality show on fatherhood.

What's next for Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza? Will there be more babies down the line? According to Mario, there will be more children.

"As many as she'll give me," he said. "At least three!"

Gia Lopez has certainly been born to two parents who eagerly awaited and had fun planning for her birth. Mario seems ecstatic about becoming a dad, and has reported that both mother and baby are doing just fine.

How Does Mario Lopez Fit In To The Tony Parker, Erin Barry Scandal - Is He Team Eva?

Eva Longoria filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker on Wednesday. She later opened up to close friend and "Extra" host Mario Lopez about Tony Parker's cheating with a former teammates wife, rumored to be Brent Barry's girl, Erin Barry.

Mario Lopez reports on celebrity news and entertainment, so it must be hard when the big news story involves one of your best friends. However buzzworthy, Eva Longoria's divorce may be, it's nothing compared to what her husband Tony Parker did, allegedly cheating with Erin Barry, reports Trending Daily.

Eva, Tony, Brent, and Erin were all good friends. Parker and Barry formerly played together for the San Antonio Spurs, and the group spent time together as couples. However, Eva Longoria revealed to friend Mario Lopez that she had found numerous text messages from Brent Barry's wife, Erin Barry on Tony Parker's cell phone.

Eva had apparently had it with Tony's cheating ways, telling Mario Lopez this isn't the first time she's caught him being unfaithful, as he has used facebook to contact women as well. Eva Longoria is beautiful, talented, and funny. While she may be devastated now, she'll come back from this stronger than ever, Erin Barry may want to watch her back.

Eva Longoria Divorce: Was Tony Parker Cheating with Brent Barry's Wife Erin?

The rumors yesterday were seemingly dismissed that Tony Parker and Eva Longoria divorced.  Now those rumors have become reality today and Eva is not happy with it.  There's also reports now that it may have been Tony Parker cheating with his teammate Brent Barry's wife.  Say it ain't so, a cheating athlete!

According to a report from PEOPLE, Eva Longoria discovered hundreds of text messages sent to Parker's phone from a teammate's wife.  The report doesn't identify who that teammate is from the San Antonio Spurs though, but there's speculation it may have been Brent Barry's wife, Erin Barry.  Sports Illustrated writer Bryan A Graham believes it to be true based on the following tweet he sent out today:

Have it on good authority from entertainment sources that "former teammate" in Tony Parker-Eva Longoria affair is Brent Barry.

Longoria officially filed for divorce just today giving the reason "irreconcilable differences" for the split up.  She's also seeking spousal support from her All-star husband, Parker, who is a guard for the San Antonio Spurs.

Apparently, Mario Lopez of EXTRA received comments from Longoria about this whole incident saying Parker had cheated on her earlier in the marriage and also kept in touch with the mistress via Facebook.  Lopez added that Longoria is "devestated" but "she's strong."

This story is obviously not a shocking one, although Tony Parker "seemed" like one of the good guys in sports.  Maybe we can thank the likes of a more prominent athlete named Tiger Woods, for setting the bar high in terms of sports figures cheating on their wives.  Now we have to wait and see if Eva Longoria will move from being a "Desperate Housewife" to one of the "Basketball Wives" on VH1 where she can comiserate with the ex-wives of Shaquille O'Neal and Antoine Walker.
