LEGS AND FEET
This next set of tips will help you get those legs and feet looking great!
1. Hair Removal
Hair removal has come a long way in the last few years. No longer do we need to rely on our husband’s razors and shaving creams. Here are some other options:
Waxing
Hair removal creams (like Nair and Veet)
Laser
2. Home Pedicure
It’s easy to give yourself a home pedicure. Here are some tips to show off those pretty feet:
Soak your feet in warm water.
Gently use a pumice stone to get rid of dead skin.
Apply lotion or cream generously to your feet.
Clip your toenails straight across as opposed to rounding them off.
When applying polish, separate your toes using cotton balls.
3. Dry Feet
Cracked, dry feet need extra care. Soak them daily in warm water, then before bed, apply a thick layer of Vaseline or olive oil to your feet. Cover them with baggie, then a pair of socks. Leave the plastic on overnight, or at least an hour or two.
4. Shapely Legs
You can shape your legs by doing simple toning exercises every day. Here are some ideas:
Do squats standing against a wall
Do leg lifts while laying on your back or side
Sit in a chair, and lift your knees one at a time, up toward your head
5. Foot Care
Wash your feet daily, and use powder if you need to. Always wear clean socks, made out of natural fibers if possible.
6. Corns
Corns can be very painful. The best way to get rid of them is to soak your feet daily in warm water for 10 minutes. Then gently soap up your feet, and rub the corns. Do this every night until the corns go away. Never use a razor on corns.
