Daylight Savings Time Begin on November 7, 2010

On Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 2 a.m., Daylight Saving Time ends in the United States. Every "Spring" we move our clocks one hour ahead and "lose" an hour during the night and each "Fall" we move our clocks back one hour and "gain" an extra hour. But Daylight Saving Time (and not Daylight Savings Time with an "s") wasn't just created to confuse...

Daylight Savings Time ends Nov. 7, 2010. It is four weeks longer since 2007 due to the passage of the Energy Policy Act in 2005. It was thought that it would save 10,000 barrels of oil each day through reduced power for lighting. So much for getting the Little Trick R Treaters out earlier!

Daylight Savings Time Ends on Sunday, November 7, 2010. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back an hour on Saturday, November 6. If your clock is connected to a satellite, it is designed to turn back automatically, no manual adjustment required.
