Lil Wayne Released From Prison

As of November 4th rapper Lil Wayne has been released from Riker Island.

In March of this year, Wayne began his year sentence for illegal weapon possession. Eight months later he was released on good behavior. Upon Wayne's release he posted comments about his time behind bars on Weezythanxyou.com.

"I was never scared, worried, nor bothered by the situation," Wayne posted.

Good Behavior? Didn't he get into trouble two months after he began his sentence.

Lil Wayne's latest album "I Am Not A Human Being" ranked at number one on the Billboard charts. At the 2008 Grammy awards, he won for best selling album and for best rap album "Tha Carter III.

How many presidents do you think listen to Lil Wayne? So far, President Barack Obama has admitted to having some of the rapper's music on his iPod.

Although former President Bill Clinton didn't say he listens to Lil Wayne's music, he did have some kind words to say.

"What I hope will happen is that he has a good life now," Clinton said on a radio interview in Pittsburgh.

Now that Lil Wayne is out, he can focus on being a father to his children. Life is too short to be spending most of it behind bars.
