Well known You Tube personality Messy Mya was shot and killed around 8 pm Sunday evening. The 22 year old man had just attended his unborn child's baby shower in New Orleans.
The real concern is that on lookers surrounded him as he lay dying in the street and took pictures. These photos have already started showing up on the Internet and spreading throughout twitter. The heartless individual that took the photos gave no thought to human decency and compassion. In a rush to share what someone's camera captured as Mya lied dying a family's need for privacy in a time of grief has once again been ignored.Messy Mya was known for using the Internet to stir up controversy by talking about people. He angered a lot of individuals in New Orleans, and someone sought revenge. Right now the police haven't identified any suspects.
While Messy Mya's death is tragic, the total disrespect that this person showed by taking photos is appalling. What were they thinking? Are Americans really starting to lack compassion?
