The YouTube comedian known as Messy Mya was shot and killed on Saturday. Mya's real name is Anthony Barre. As soon as Mya was shot, photos of him took to Twitter. Hours later, they were taken down but not before fans and the public saw his death face. What an unfortunate thing to happen to the comedian.

Mya was leaving his girlfriend's baby shower when he was shot. Apparently, reports claimed he may have been involved in an altercation when the fatal shooting took place. Mya probably didn't wake up that day thinking to himself, "Today, I might die."

Messy Mya's life was cut way too short. He could have become a YouTube mogul, he could have been a great dad and he could have lived a full life but all that was taken away by violence.

As for his death photo being on Twitter, that was callous and cruel. No one wants to see a death photo of their loved one splattered on Twitter for all to enjoy! It's doing a disservice to Messy and his family. What's become of this world? Death is not fun and it shouldn't be taken lightly.

Messy Mya was best known for being a comedian and YouTube sensation. The 22-year-old was shot and killed on Sunday in New Orleans, shortly after attending his pregnant girlfriend's baby shower.

According to Contact Music, Messy Mya became one of the most popular names on YouTube since he began posting his humorous videos there. The talent was likely well on his way to some form of stardom.

Messy Mya was shot in the street in New Orleans around 8PM on Sunday evening. People stood around taking pictures with their cell phones and then tweeting those photos to their Twitter followers.

What on earth is wrong with people? When someone lays dying they can think of nothing better to do than to take pictures of the person suffering, and then they share those photos with others? What is our society becoming? If one can't help in a hands-on way during such a horrific situation, one can pray. One can at the very least be respectful and not take photos as someone is taking their last breaths.

Fortunately some people have had the good graces to request that Twitter remove the images of Messy Mya as he lay dying in the streets of New Orleans. One would certainly hope that Twitter will honor the requests of those who realize this is in extremely poor taste.

While the motive for Messy Mya's murder isn't known, the case is presently under investigation. Fans have flood Messy Mya's Facebook page with notes of sympathy.

Well known You Tube personality Messy Mya was shot and killed around 8 pm Sunday evening. The 22 year old man had just attended his unborn child's baby shower in New Orleans.

The real concern is that on lookers surrounded him as he lay dying in the street and took pictures. These photos have already started showing up on the Internet and spreading throughout twitter. The heartless individual that took the photos gave no thought to human decency and compassion. In a rush to share what someone's camera captured as Mya lied dying a family's need  for privacy in a time of grief has once again been ignored.

Messy Mya was known for using the Internet to stir up controversy by talking about people. He angered a lot of individuals in New Orleans, and someone sought revenge. Right now the police haven't identified any suspects.

While Messy Mya's death is tragic, the total disrespect that this person showed by taking photos is appalling. What were they thinking? Are Americans really starting to lack compassion?
