A Serial Killer in Houston? John Cannon Talks about Carol Flood, Raquel Mundy and Retia Long Murders in Houston

Is a serial killer loose in Houston? The deaths of Carol Flood, Raquel Mundy and Retia Long are raising questions. John Cannon, a spokesperson for the Houston police stated no evidences points to one person. However, the murders in Houston seem like the work of a serial killer.

Barricade Tape (Non Adhesive)According to ABC news, Carol Flood and the other victims all had several things in common. First, they are all women, black and two of them shared similar living conditions. Carol Flood and Retia Long were both homeless and their bodies were found within blocks of one and other. The third woman, Raquel Mundy, was was not homeless but her body was found near a homeless shelter!

John Cannon, a spokesman for the Houston Police Department, stated:

"We don't have any evidence that points to just one suspect...The two most recent victims were both homeless and were strangled a couple blocks away from each other." Cannon added, "When we started looking for other similar cases, that's when we noticed similarities with another woman found in June. We thought: we can lump these together."

One can assume women in Houston are probably worried if there is an serial killer on the loose. More on the story can be found here. Let's hope investigators will be able to figure out what's going on with the deaths because if there is a serial killer on the loose, it's very disturbing.
