Patty Bigbee has won the worst grandmother award! For $30,000, Patty Bigbee handed her baby grandson of in a parking lot in Daytona Beach. Yes, she had sold her 8-week infant grandson. Bigbee has been charged with illegal sale or surrender of a child.

Patty was arrested with her boyfriend Lawrence Works after a tip from someone in Tampa led authorities to them. They were trying to sell the infant while his mother Stephannie Bigbee-Davis Fleming was in jail but the news gets worst because this baby selling deal was made on behalf of the infant’s mom! Patty Bigbee’s tipser ended up being the buyer, who called police after being approached by Bigbee trying to sell her grandson. Officers set up a sting operation and once the child was in the back seat of the “buyer’s” car, cops arrested the grandmother and her boyfriend.

Initially Bigbee would only hand over the baby for $75,000 but she was bartered down to $30,000. That’s some terrible bartering on Bigbee’s part. The entire transaction occurred in a parking lot. How classy! Stephannie Bigbee-Davis Fleming wanted to sell her son so that she could pay for court cost over some other unrelated trouble she’d gotten herself into and so she could buy a car.
