Daniel Radcliffe said he “quite liked” kissing Emma Watson! Woo Hoo! Emma Watson, on the other hand, said kissing Daniel Radcliffe was awkward. Ouch! Apparently, the two Harry Potter
stars will be locking lips in the upcoming Deathly Hallows movie. It seems like Emma Watson definitely felt more like Daniel Radcliffe was brother-ish since they had grown up working together for the past TEN years! Yeah, it would be weird kissing a childhood friend.
Emma Watson was asked about how she felt kissing Daniel Radcliffe and she said, “It was a really awkward thing to have to do… like a weird social experiment where [filmmakers] say to us become like brother and sister and then we’ll make you kiss in ten years time. It was weird. It was very, very weird… He is a good kisser. I can definitely vouch for that.”
However, when Daniel Radcliffe was asked what kissing Emma Watson was like, he said, “To be honest, it wasn’t too awkward. It was quite enjoyable. I quite liked it…. It was passionate. I thought it was going to be a slow, soft shy kind of thing, but no… It was vigorous. It was great!” Hmmm, wild guess here but it’s probably safe to say Daniel Radcliffe enjoyed kissing Emma Watson way, way more than she enjoyed kissing him.
Anyway, it’s just interesting to know how differently both Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe reacted to kissing each other. It’s almost like young male hormones focus on just a single event while the maturing female takes a step back to assess the entire situation from beginning to end. What do you think about Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe’s reactions to kissing each other?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 hits theaters on November 19, 2010.
