Delta Airlines Jet Makes Emergency Landing At JFK

A Delta Airlines Boeing 767 made an emergency landing at John F Kennedy Airport after reports of a fire on its left wing. Soon after take off the jet was forced to dump fuel and make an emergency landing, returning the nearly 200 passengers on board back to the airport.

Fire officials said there were no signs of any fires on board once the Delta Airlines jet had landed. But something must have spooked the pilots of flight 30 enough to proceed with an emergency landing only 50 minutes after takeoff. No injuries have been reported from this incident, and all passengers will be put onto another flight as soon as possible. The ill fated flight was initially headed to Moscow, a flight that takes over 10 hours.

No details of the real cause of the engine trouble have been reported at this time. However, it seems that everyone involved is fine and what at first sounded like another story of tragedy, has turned into a story with a happy ending, albeit confusing at this time. At least nobody was hurt and everyone is on their way to Moscow once again.

Maybe for some, it's not like that, but what are retailers doing to their employees? Many are forced to work on a traditional holiday, and that is wrong. Maybe Americans need to realize what their priorities are, and why so many are in financial trouble.

Stay home on Thanksgiving. Maybe then people will be together and remember that Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks for blessings, and not for what stores have on sale.

A man invented underwear you can wear to avoid embarrassing TSA screeners. The underwear is X-Ray proof. The men's version comes with a fig leaf design tactfully placed, while the women's has other designs to cover intimate parts of the female anatomy.

"Jeff Buske says his invention uses a powdered metal that protects people's privacy when undergoing medical or security screenings." The underwear is Rocky Flats Gear.

How will TSA feel about the underwear that protects your private parts? That is yet unknown at this time, but it's a sales gimmick. If nothing else, it may have a peak in sales until some old lady is made to strip down naked.

There is no easy solution to this problem other than not flying at all. If you don't fly often the radiation is minimal, but the privacy is not. How do you feel about this underwear? Will it be a ticket out of the line, or will you get pulled for a more embarrassing pat down?  If people are being made to take off their prosthetic devices, this underwear won't work. It is a good example of American ingenuity, but it's unlikely to fly.

"Twilight" Star Bronson Pelletier Attacked And Nose Broken

In Birmingham, England, Bronson Pelletier was attacked, and his nose was broken when four men jumped him in the bathroom. No one expected trouble at the event, which Pelletier was a guest. No motive for the attack was given. Four drunken men wanted to beat up someone, and he happened to be Bronson. Someone who had organized the party tried to help him but was also assaulted.

Bronson Pelletier starred in "New Moon," "Eclipse" and is in "Breaking Dawn." He plays werewolf tribe member Jared, but how will a werewolf look with a broken nose?

After the attack, police tasered one of the drunks, and eventually got all four, but only two were arrested. The attackers were attending a wedding, when they decided to jump Pelletier. What a shame this had to happen to the Canadian actor. It's unlikely they even knew who he was. They were just drunk bullies looking for someone they could beat in the head.

He is obviously upset, and angry. Why do jerks like this even exist except to cause misery? Hopefully, this will not negatively affect his role as Jared in "Twilight." 

Air Quality in Beijing Crazy Bad - U.S. Embassy Retracts Term - Which Words are Right?

Air quality in Beijing is “crazy bad” according to the U.S. Embassy. They made the announcement on Friday after other adjectives failed to accurately describe the level of air pollution in the city. The U.S. Embassy independently monitors air quality in the area.

However, eventually, the term “crazy bad” was retracted later as “incorrect.” Now the U.S. Embassy will use more appropriate language once the air quality index rises above 500, which is a level that is hazardous for people in any type of health.

It is rather scary that the air quality is so crazy bad that schools do not have outdoor exercise, and residents have been asked to stay indoors – especially those who are elderly and children. Even youth football games have been cancelled due to the poor air quality. There are so many things that contribute to the poor air quality in Beijing. There are factories burning coal in the winter, and then there is the fact that at least 1,200 cars hit the roads each and every day.

It is scary that Beijing is experiencing such crazy bad air quality lately. What is the plan to clean it up? How much is it affecting the health of the city’s residents? This is really tough to figure out how to fix, but something will have to be done. People cannot keep living like that. Obviously crazy bad may be a tough term to swallow, but what words are the right ones to use to describe the air quality in Beijing? Do you have any ideas?

Facebook Officially Dethrones MySpace - Sites Announce Mashup for Users

It is official – Facebook dethrones MySpace as a social network in the U.S. In fact, MySpace has announced a “Mashup with Facebook” that is already in progress. The two sites a joint announcement about the move late last week, and the service has now rolled out world-wide. Have you taken advantage of it yet?

Basically, the mashup is going to allow users to connect between the two sites. MySpace is officially calling it quits on being a social network. They were a pioneer in the area, but Facebook has blown them away in popularity. MySpace is turning itself into an entertainment site. In fact, the CEO, Mike Jones, called the site, "one of the largest entertainment experiences on the Web." That was probably a smart change of pace since there is no hope of MySpace competing seriously with Facebook.

This move was not a surprise to anybody. Facebook had obviously dethroned MySpace and become the king of social networking a while back. However, it is good that MySpace has moved on. Hopefully the site will be able to continue offering valuable information to its users in the future. There is likely still a place out there for MySpace especially now that they have defined exactly what their new space is.

Richard Seymour Ben Roethlisberger Punch Video - Seymour Ejected Following Cheap Shot (Video Link)

Oakland Raiders DE Richard Seymour was ejected and will likely be fined following the punch he threw at Pittsburgh Steelers' QB Ben Roethlisberger today during the Raiders' loss to the Steelers.

A ten-year veteran and five-time Pro-Bowler, this type of behavior isn't typical of Seymour. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin re-iterated that fact during post-game interviews, mentioning that his opinion of Seymour as a player hasn't changed, and that the game just got the best of him.

Richard Seymour punched Ben Roethlisberger following Roethlisberger's touchdown pass to WR Emmanuel Sanders late in the second quarter, which put Pittsburgh up 21-3.  The Steelers would go on to win the game 35-3.

After the Roethlisberger TD pass, word were likely exchanged between the two stars, and Seymour's anger got the best of him.

Seeing Ben Roethlisberger getting punched on the mouth probably didn't anger anybody outside of the Pittsburgh area, considering the type of person many assume Roethlisberger is.  He looks and acts like a meathead, and everyone is aware of the rape accusations which had been brought against him this past offseason.

Was the Richard Seymour-Ben Roethlisberger punch justified?  Probably not.  But it sure was gratifying to see Big Ben get what's been coming to him for once.

Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek Dies at 52... Never Cleared Her Name in Murder of Husband's Ex-Wife

Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek, former Playboy Club bunny and Milwaukee police officer, has died at the age of 52. Convicted of murder in the death of her husband's ex-wife, Christine Schultz, she escaped from prison in 1990. Her escape gave birth to the popular phrase, "Run, Bambi, Run," and also inspired a made-for-TV movie.

According to NPR.org, Laurie Bembenek died Saturday of liver failure at a hospice facility. She had spent the past 20 years trying to prove her innocence.

Do you remember the Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek case? It was first made into a novel and then a TV movie in 1993, called "Woman On Trial: The Lawrencia Bembenek Story." Based on both the book and the movie, it certainly did appear that Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek was innocent of the crime for which she was incarcerated.

After Bembenek's jail break, more than 200 supporters in Milwaukee donned homemade t-shirts branded with the phrase, "Run, Bambi, Run!" because they strongly believed that Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek had been falsely accused and imprisoned for a crime she didn't commit.

After she and her fiance were captured in Ontario about three months after her escape, she returned to Wisconsin, where a judge agreed to delve further into her case. When the judge determined that "significant mistakes" had been made in the investigation and the trial, a plea deal was struck. Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek pleaded guilty to second degree murder and was sentenced to ten years of probation. Clearing her name was not an option at that time. Agreeing to the plea deal assured she wouldn't have to go back to jail.

Ever since finishing her sentence of probation, Bembenek had worked diligently in an attempt to fully clear her name of any wrongdoing in Christine Schultz's death. She had recently been petitioning outgoing Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle in hopes of a pardon. Her family plans to continue seeking her pardon, in order to fully exonerate her even now that she has died. They feel it is the very least they can do to honor her memory.

How sad that this woman had fought so vigilantly to clear her name, but died before she could realize her dream. It is wonderful that her family will continue to fight for her name and reputation to be cleared.

It’s time for the next American Music Awards! Many talented stars are ready to take the stage as the 38^th annual American Music Awards airs on Sunday night. Are you ready?  

Ke$ha, the glittery diva, the newlywed, Katy Perry, and the teen popstar sensation, Justin Bieber will make their first appearances on the AMA stage. All three of the stars are multiple nominees, and all are up for the artist of the year award, along with Eminem and Lady Gaga. Wow! This is very intriguing!

 The teen popstar, Justin Bieber is nominated for a total of four awards! Yeah, that’s right! Four awards! He has definitely made some major progress in the past year! Perry and Ke$ha have three bids each. Lady Gaga and Eminem lead with five awards a piece!

Many other talented artists are scheduled to perform their new hit singles on the AMA stage! These such artists are: Bon Jovi, P!nk, Christina Aguilera and Usher! This will be without doubt an amazing awards ceremony for the stars who have put their heart and soul into this! Some a little more than others.

The American Music Awards will be presented to the ones who deserve it on Sunday November 21 at the Nokia Theatre and will be broadcasted live on ABC. Music fans, choose your winners by voting online. Choose wisely!

Joan Baez Falls Climbing Down from Platform on Wednesday, She Plunged 20 Feet to the Ground from Tree House

After a 20-foot fall, Joan Baez had to be taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Joan Baez’s fall occurred while she “was climbing down from the platform [of her tree house] Wednesday when she plunged to the ground.” Baez, 69, likes to sleep in her wall-less tree house because she feels closer to nature that way. Fortunately, the 60s singer was treated then released but realistically a wall-less tree house is no place for an aging singer.

Joan Baez is a popular folk singer who had a relationship with Bob Dylan. She is known for being “granola” and her love of nature is well-known. Granted nature is a beautiful place to relax and meditate but Joan Baez should go for a walk or a hike instead of hanging around a tree house. It’s amazing that Joan didn’t sustain more serious injuries considering her age and the height she plunged to the ground from. Baez’s fall occurred in the backyard of her Woodside, California home where her tree house is.

Hopefully, Joan Baez is now resting in a bed at her home and not up in her tree house. Only time will tell if she has given up her tree house for good. For a nature lover like Baez, it will be hard to let go.

Glee Thriller Mash-Up Super Bowl Bound: Too Soon For Michael Jackson Covers?

Fox's "Glee" is taking on Thriller for its big post Super Bowl appearance. That news was released earlier this week, and the reaction to the news was very mixed. Some fans were upset that Glee is planning to take on Michael Jackson. Others were excited. It is definitely one of those things that will earn attention for the series. It always is, and the episode hasn't even aired yet.

Any series that can snag a post Super Bowl episode has made its mark. No denying that "Glee" has done that. But cover Thriller though? The death of Michael Jackson is still fresh in the minds of a lot of people. The estate of Michael Jackson has not allowed the singer to fade from the spotlight any. There is new music and tributes to him in the works.

The Immortal World Tour will kick off next year by Cirque du Soleil.  Now "Glee" is tacking "Thriller" for this episode. It is time to let Michael Jackson rest, but it doesn't look like that will happen. According to CNN, the song will appear during half time of a football game as a mash-up with another song.

Other songs set to be used in the episode will come from Katy Perry and Black Eyed Peas. A mash-up? That almost makes it worse than if they just performed the song on its own! The series is popular, and it is dominating things once again this season, but some things are just better left alone. Ever hear of respect for the dead? MJ is no longer with us. His music lives on, but his music isn't for sampling. Not right now.

"Glee" is known for taking on today's music and some classics and running with them. Some artists are okay with that. A lot aren't though, and they have been outspoken about their unhappiness with "Glee" on Fox. Not every artist wants to appear on the musical series. Wonder if Michael Jackson would have allowed the series to use his song on their show? No way to ever really know, but it is possible he is not too happy with the song usage.  What do you think? Unemployment Extension Blocked By House Republicans

Nothing is ever what it seems in Washington.  A bill fast-tracked by the Democrats that would require a two-thirds vote to pass, fell short when Republicans blocked the measure because the bill was written to increase spending without any cuts.  The political maneuvering of the House Democrats was obviously a political ploy to embarrass House Republicans.

The bill, designed to extend unemployment benefits until the end of February, would have added $12.5 billion to the national debt.  This cavalier spending is unconscionable, considering the financial burden currently carried by taxpayers.  With the holiday season fast approaching, this was a cynical move by the Democrats, obviously trying to force the Republican’s hand.  By fast-tracking the bill, the Republicans were unable to find ways to pay for the extension.  House Republicans would have sought to pay for these extensions by cutting spending on failed stimulus programs, according to Rep. Charles Boustany, R-La.

Using the unemployed as a political football will only strengthen the public’s perception that Democrats are the party of big government.  In the past the American public has had a short political memory.  However, after forcing through health care reform, finRance reform and gobbling up major automotive businesses, Americans are leery of the intentions of Democrat leaders.  As long as Republicans stick to a philosophy of less government, and honor their Pledge to America, they will keep the Democratic Party on the ropes for a long time.

Will Ferrell Loses Securities Dispute: JP Morgan Accused of Engaging in Unauthorized, Unsuitable Purchases of Preferred Securities

Will Ferrell loses his securities dispute with JP Morgan. Will Ferrell accused the firm of engaging in “unauthorized and unsuitable purchases of preferred securities.” The actor must pay $600,000 in legal fees and costs to JP Morgan following his loss. Looks like it’s a double blow to Ferrell who will be out even more money than before! Ouch!

Will Ferrell was not the only investor suing JP Morgan. He was one of several investors who wanted the firm to rescind their purchase of $18 million in preferred securities. A Finra panel disagreed with Will’s claims and instead ordered Ferrell, his wife, Viveca Paulin, and the other investors to pay JP Morgan’s $600,000 legal fees as well an additional $22,500 for “discovery abuse.”

Will Ferrell is no doubt upset over his loss. There’s little that can be done now and it is unfortunate Will lost so many money but the Finra panel isn’t divulging any more information about the case. Whatever was revealed during the trial will be unknown to us but imagine how it must sting to sue for $18 million only to be slapped with $622,500 in fines later. Major ouch!

Naked Sleepwalker Libel Case Record Award: $17M goes to Donal Kinsella

The Naked sleepwalker libel case has resulted in a record award for Irish mining exec, Donal Kinsella.  The 67-year-old Kinsella was recently awarded $17 million for an incident involving naked sleepwalking during a business trip.  His employer was shocked at the amount given to the man who had been walking around naked near a co-workers room!

According to Yahoo News of Australia, the lawsuit was initiated by Donal Kinsella against his employer Kenmare Resources.  Apparently during a business trip, Kinsella was found sleepwalking in the naked, coincidentally near his co-worker Dierdre Corcoran's room.  The company released a press statement after the incident which alleged Kinsella had been making sexual advances toward the female co-worker.

In his defense, Donal had been a bit under the influence at the time, as he was taking painkillers and had been drinking alcohol.  After an investigation of the incident, it was determined that he had not tried to enter Corcoran's room, and had not acted in any inappropriate manners, beyond walking around naked.  They also claim that Kinsella regularly sleepwalks in the naked.

Kinsella reported he felt "exhilirated and vindicated," not by sleepwalking in naked, but by the massive amoung he was awarded.  That record award is five times the previous highest Irish libel case amount.  Kenmare was shocked by the judgment saying the award was off the Richter scale.  They will be appealing this decision, but in the meantime they are ordered to pay out $875,000 to Kinsella for the libelous press release they issued.

Does this sound like one bizarre case and award or what?  It almost makes it seem like co-workers could get away with "hanky panky" on business trips just by claiming they sleepwalk naked. Expect the naked sleepwalking defense to start popping up all over courts around the globe!

Country Music Artist Eddie Montgomery Has Cancer (video)

Country Music Artist Eddie Montgomery has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The 47-year-old Montgomery Gentry band member is scheduled for surgery in December to remove the tumor, and is expected to make a full recovery. Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers found in men, and if the patient receives proper therapy, the prognosis is usually favorable.

According People Magazine, in a statement, Eddie Montgomery said, “I will be undergoing surgery to remove the cancerous tumor in December.” Adding, “I will be back in January ready to rock for all the fans!”

Montgomery also asks his fans to, “Please keep my family and I in your prayers.”

We all wish Eddie Montgomery a speedy, and cancer free recovery, and hope to see the Montgomery Gentry band back to work real soon. The Montgomery Gentry duo released “While You’re Still Young”, in April 2010, which reached 32 on the country charts. TSA Pat Down – Forces Woman To Remove Prosthetic Breast

The TSA Pat Down nightmares get better and better… or rather, worse and worse. The TSA forces a woman to remove her prosthetic breast at an airport in North Carolina.

The three-year breast cancer survivor, Cathy Bossi, is a flight attendant in the Charlotte area. Bossi told WBTV that in August two female TSA agents took her to a private room for a private pat down, which Bossi said was quite aggressive. She said they stopped when they got around to feeling her right breast, which is the breast where she had surgery.

“She put her full hand on my breast and said, ‘What is this?’” Bossi told the station. “And I said, ‘It’s my prosthesis because I’ve had breast cancer.’ And she said, ‘Well you’ll need to show me that.”

Bossi said she removed the prosthetic breast from her bra.

How humiliating! This woman should feel proud to be a cancer survivor and instead the TSA makes a mockery of her horrible ordeal.

"I did not take the name of the person at the time because it was just so horrific of an experience, I couldn't believe someone had done that to me," Bossi said. "I'm a flight attendant. I was just trying to get to work."

Rather than put Bossi through that kind of humiliation, couldn’t they have asked her to walk through a scanner? Also, as a flight attendant, it seems she should be given a doctor’s note to carry around.

According to Fox News, a TSA spokesperson told the station that agents aren't supposed to remove any prosthetics but are allowed to ask to see and touch any passenger's prosthetic. The agency said it will review the matter.

This pat down business is way out of hand – TSA should not be allowed to take people’s bodies into their own hands.

Shakti Stream Drove Car Which Seriously Injured Colt Brennan

Shakti Stream, Colt Brennan and a third person were involved in a car crash on Friday morning which has left both Stream and Brennan seriously injured. Shakti Stream, who is rumored to be Brennan’s girlfriend, has been identified as the driver of the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Brennan had recently flown to the Big Island of Hawaii, where the incident occurred. Stream, 27, is a resident and native of Kona, Hawaii. Stream was driving the SUV when it flipped onto its side on Queen Kaahumanu Highway near Makalawaena. They were heading north in the 1997 Toyota SUV.

The Hawaii Police Department said the Toyota crossed the center line and crashed head on with a 1996 Saub. The driver of the Saab is reported to be a 47-year-old woman who is a resident of Waikoloa. All persons involved in the crash are reported to be in serious condition.

It sounds as if Brennan and his parents, who were traveling separately, were visiting the Hawaiian Islands and possibly taking a family vacation. Brennan was recently cut from the Redskins in early September. Now he is fighting for his life.

Ryan Tollner, Brennan’s agent, released the following statement:

“We have been informed that Colt was injured as a passenger in car accident this morning on The Big Island of Hawaii. He was taken to Kona Community Hospital and has since been transported to Honolulu for further medical attention. We do not know the severity of his injuries at this point, but that his condition is serious. We are not aware of the status of anyone else involved in the accident but our thoughts and prayers are with them. No details of the accident have been revealed to us. Colt’s family asks that the public is respectful of the hospitals and medical staffs focused on treating the individuals involved in this accident.”

Brennan has suffered head injuries, a broken left collarbone and several broken ribs. He was unable to get himself out of the flipped SUV.

Brennan’s parents were traveling from California to Oahu at the time they were notified of the crash and Brennan’s injuries.

It must be even more difficult to be facing a situation such as this away from home. Let’s hope Brennan - and all other individuals involved - makes a complete recovery.

Woman Imprisoned For Twitter Message In China

A Chinese woman has been imprisoned for a message she retweeted on the social networking site Twitter. She was sentenced to one year in a Chinese labor camp after she forwarded a message her fiancé had written that urged recipients to attack the Japanese Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo, according to human rights groups.

The 46-year-old woman, Cheng Jianping, added the words “Charge, angry youth” to the original message written by her fiancé, Hua Chunhui, in which he “goaded protesters to go beyond the smashing of Japanese products and express their fury at the heavily policed expo site,” said the New York Times.

The woman was accused of “disturbing social order.”

Cheng and her fiancé were both seized by officials last month in the city of Wuxi. Hua was released after five days – yet Cheng will remain in police custody for an entire year. Hua told reporters they had planned to marry on the day they were detained.

People don’t seem to grasp that what they put out there on social networking sites such as Twitter can get them into some serious trouble. However – is it fair that Cheng is being punished more severely than her fiancé? After all – he was the one who wrote the initial message.

China, especially, is intolerant of the internet’s social networking sites. Known by the online name Wang Yi, Ms. Cheng is avidly followed by a small coterie of Chinese intellectuals who subscribe to Twitter. Twitter is blocked in China, however, the social networking site can be reached “by those willing to burrow beneath the government’s firewall.”

Sam Zarifi, Amnesty International’s director for the Asia-Pacific region, said “Sentencing someone to a year in a labor camp, without trial, for simply repeating another person’s clearly satirical observation on Twitter demonstrates the level of China’s repression of online expression,” in a statement on Thursday.

Unlike our legal system in the United States, in China police can send people to labor camps for up to four years without a trial. People have little chance of appeal once they are sentenced.

International director of Chinese Human Rights Defenders, Renee Xia, said Ms. Cheng was part of a group of freelance advocates known as weiguan. They travel across the country to show up at courthouses where dissidents are on trial.

“There is a growing group of people like her, netizens who are moving from cyberspace to the real world,” Ms. Xia said. “Putting her into a labor camp shows that the government is prepared to come down hard on these people.”

Plastic Surgeon Sues Own Patients: Is Defamation Possible on Yelp?

A Chicago plastic surgeon, Dr. Jay Pensler, is suing his former patients for defamation after they posted bad reviews of his work on Yelp and Citysearch. Is that the scent of the easily offended on the air, or is it just old silicone?

Carol Oshana, the lawyer representing one of the plastic surgeon's former patients who is being sued, says Dr. Pensler ruined her client's body. "Her breasts look terrible. I mean, I hate the way she looks. She looks so bad," AOL News quoted Oshana as saying.

She said the suit's likely to be dismissed, but not before legal fees pile up on both sides. Countersuing does exist, but who'd want to after that long? If they lose on a technicality, that'd be even more fees.

Dr. Pensler insists he's being lied about. While photographs of the women's post-surgery scars hve been made public, Pensler's attorney, Mitchell Marinello, says they have been doctored. Surprise, surprise, he's blaming Photoshop.

The photographs are only part of the story from the plastic surgeon's former patients. They're being sued for posting multiple accounts of problems with Dr. Pensler's work.

When Oshana says her client's breasts look terrible, she may not be kidding at all. More than one of his clients said they hate the way theirs look, and it's just as bad as the photos. One review on Citysearch said "...I had Frankenstein breasts with the nipples placed too high." Another said, "...my areolas look like a drawstring purse."

The publicly available photographs of some of his former clients' post-surgery scars being doctored seems pretty unlikely, whatever Mitchell Marinello may want to say. It'd take several people with a large grudge to risk being publicly identified as liars to put together that many bad reviews.

And if bad reviews are defamation, as Pensler is insisting by suing his former patients, what will that mean to restaurants with crappy food? This could go very bad places if he wins.

Oprah's Favorite Things 2010 List includes Andre Walker Hair Care plus Beecher's Mac N' Cheese

Oprah's favorite Things 2010 edition has officially been unveiled and it's just in time for the Christmas holiday shopping season.  The daytime talk show host released her list of favorite things which included everything from books to Hair Care products and even Mac N Cheese.  Let's dive in and check out a few of the items Oprah loves that you might soon love too!

A book which has made Oprah's favorite list is "A Course In Weight Loss" by Marianne Willamson.  While Oprah has it priced at $24 on her list, you can pick it up for just $13 at Amazon.com.  The book offers a look at the connection between spirituality and weight loss, with 21 "spiritual lessons" to help with weight loss forever.  This book is said to help align one's mind, body and spirit for staying true to the weight loss path.

Enough about weight loss though, food items are on Oprah's list as are items to help you prepare food.  One such food prep item is the Breville Panini Quattro 4-slice (pictured) which accommodates up to four sandwiches at once due a 25% larger cooking surface.  Oprah loves this item and notes she's bough 22 of them to give away as gifts to people.  It sells for under $100 and can likely be found on sale online during the holiday shopping season.

Also on the list, Andre Walker Hair Care products.  Walker is the man who has behind the hair that makes Oprah so unique and attractive on the air.  She says it took Andre "25 years, but Andre's finally bottled the magic just for you."  An ultimate gift set of Walker's products includes special root cover hair makeup, shampoo, conditioner and Q-oil for $65.

Oprah's list wouldn't be complete without some delicious comfort food.  For that selection, Oprah's favorite is Beecher's "World's Best" Mac 'N' Cheese.  Beecher sells handmade cheeses online, but Oprah swears by the taste of this particular meal, saying "The best part [is] it comes frozen.  All you have to do is heat it up, and you've got yourself some good eatin' from Beecher's."

Natalee Holloway Body Found on Aruba Beach by Tourist

After many years of searching, it seems as if a piece of evidence in the Natalee Holloway case may have finally been found! Tourist reported finding a human jawbone on a beach near the Phoenix Hotel in Aruba, which is one of several locations mentioned by Joran van der Sloot in a series of confessions.

Based on an initial examination, a human jawbone belongs to a young woman. If DNA proves that the bone belonged to Natalee Holloway, it would be the first concrete evidence of her death. Teeth are still intact in the jawbone, which may also assist in identifying whether the bone belonged to Natalee.

The Holloway family has been grieving the loss of their beautiful 18-year-old daughter and desperately searching for closure in their daughter’s case for 5 years now. Although it would be devastating to learn the gruesome details of your child’s death, at the same time it will be comforting to finally see her killer is convicted of murder.

Ace Of Cakes End: Next Year Will Be Final Season For Duff

Next year will be the end of ‘Ace of Cakes’ for Duff. The Food Network reality series will air its final season of the show beginning in January.

No more Duff? Not necessarily. Though ‘Ace of Cakes’ will be coming to an end, the Food Network is hoping to continue its relationship with ‘Ace of Cakes’ cake master, shop owner and fan favorite Duff Goldman, according to the Seattle Post Intelligencer.

Bob Tuschman, Food Network General Manger, said "Food Network, as well as its millions of viewers, remain passionate about Duff, so we are currently in the process of developing new show concepts for him."

Duff and his friends became well-known and pushed the concept of cake-making to its limits. With each cake order Duff received requests to attempt craziness – from replicating an actual motorcycle to creating cakes with mobility. It was hard to believe upon sight of these creations that they were actually cakes meant for consumption. After all of that hard work, which often took more than one of Duff’s friends to create, how could you eat it? But they did.

‘Ace of Cakes’ follows the daily operations and large-scale cake creations of Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, MD, and premiered on the network in 2006.

What will they come up with for Duff next?

'Obese' Contestant Hospitalized: Larhonda Darby’s Hospital Prescription Water Pill Causes Extreme Dehydration?

A contestant on ABC’s upcoming show, Obese, had to be hospitalized after her hospital prescription water pill caused her to suffer from extreme dehydration. Larhonda Darby is one of eight contestants who will struggle with their weight loss on air. Obese’s debut will be on ABC sometime in 2011. 

Representatives for the show claim the water pills were not responsible for Larhonda’s dehydration but medication "prescribed for reasons unrelated to her weight loss" were responsible. They also said the "health and well being of our participants is our utmost concern." That’s great to know since one would think rating would be ABC’s greatest concern.

Larhonda Darby immediately felt lightheaded an cramps in her legs after she woke up on Saturday morning. Paramedics were called and Darby was rushed to the hospital where she remained hospitalized for severe dehydration. Hopefully this will not be a trend for Obese contestants. Being hospitalized is definitely not something most people see as a part of their weight loss regime. Hopefully, Larhonda Darby will be alright.

Antimatter Breakthrough at CERN Leads to Big Bang, Origins Discovery

An antimatter breakthrough has taken place in Geneva by a group of talented scientists and researchers who study the origins of the universe.  In what represents the first time scientists have been able to harness antimatter, one such feat took place under the direction of an American scientist.

Researchers have long since wondered how matter exists today largely in planets and throughout the universe, while its opposite, antimatter, has largely disappeared from existence.

Luckily, through trial and error, Jeffrey Hangst, an American scientists and his group in Geneva at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), have managed to trap 38 anti-hydrogen atoms.

Using a sophisticated electromagnetic field and a process to lower the absolute temperature just below its threshold, they were able to create an antimatter breakthrough.  In the past, they've been able to create antimatter, but the methods employed never allowed for study, as they disappeared in a flash.

But, thanks to the antimatter breakthrough, scientists can now study the particles much longer.  Hopefully, this will answer the age old questions on how the universe was created and what happened to most of the antimatter.

Scientists say not to worry about the antimatter breakthrough being used to warp us into other universes, or be used for a weapon to rule the world.  In fact, it would take billions of years just to make one gram of the stuff.  Sorry, Dr. Doom.

John of God on Oprah: Is he a miracle worker from the God of the Bible? (Oprah Video)

John of God appeared on Oprah, and he is considered a miracle working healer. Is he fraud or for real? People are traveling all the way down to Brazil to visit John of God with all sorts of ailments: arthritis, depression and even cancer. Oprah had him on her show so Americans can see what they think this unusual man.

Who is John of God?

The miracle worker lives in Abadiania, which is a remote town in Brazil. He claims to be a simple farmer with little education and no medical degree. John of God claims that he is “a medium who channels the spirits of more than 30 dead doctors and saints to bring physical and spiritual healing.”

Is John of God the real deal?

The God of the Bible speaks against mediums and channeling spirits; therefore, there is no way that John of God is working for the God of the Bible. Leviticus 19:31 states, “Do not turn to mediums or see out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God."

Scripture also states in Leviticus 20:6, “I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his people.”

Isaiah 8-19-20 plainly states against consulting mediums and spiritists. “When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.” Here, God is crying out for His creation to come to Him for their healing.

As you can plainly see John of God cannot be using the God of the Bible to help him heal these hurting people. People are coming to him to have surgeries. After the surgery, the patients still have scars, even though they felt no pain at all. It is an incredible miracle; however, it is from the evil side of the spirit world to mock the God of the Bible.

The dark side is using the healing practice of John of God to trick people into believing that he is of God, which he is unfortunately not. God does heal today and wants to heal, but he does not use people who tap into the demonic world to heal His people.

Video: Australian Twin Sisters: Colorado Cherry Creek State Park Shooting Range's Mystery; An Accident, A Suicide or Foul Play?

Australian twin sisters were shot in the head at Colorado’s Cherry Creek State Park shooting range. The shooting killed one of the twins instantly but left the other severely wounded. The women were Australian nationals visiting the United States. As of yet, officers don’t know if the shooting was an accident, a suicide or foul play. Australian family members of the twins are traveling to Colorado to help identify which one is still alive.

On Monday, Colorado’s Cherry Creek State Park shooting range held a gruesome scene for officers who were called after the discovery of 29-year-old Australian twin sisters laying on the shooting range floor. The Australian twins had been shot in head with one dead and one wounded. Because the women were identical twins, officers were unable to properly identify which one was killed or why.

Surveillance footage only showed both women falling at the same time after being shot by different guns which were rented at the range. It did not show the actual shooting. Since the twins were Australian nationals visiting the United States, their parents were notified. The Australian Consulate in Los Angeles has coordinated traveling for the parents to Colorado.

Officers are hoping the twin sisters’ parents will be able to shed some light as to why the women were at the Cherry Creek State Park shooting range and whether or not the shooting was an accident, a suicide or foul play. The surviving Australian twin is currently hospitalized and drugged up. Her condition has improved to serious from critical. Police officers tried to question the woman on Wednesday morning but she was still too medicated.

Unfortunately, there are no answers and it is unknown whether or not the surviving twin will fully recall the events leading up to her and her sister being shot in the head. Hopefully soon though authorities will have the answers they are seeking. This has been a truly tragic event. Imagine the pain their parents are going through right now. They have no idea which one of their twin girls was killed or why. They must travel to a different country to try and figure things out. It’s frightening and it’s sad.

Joe Arpaio the Maricopa County Sheriff of Arizona swore in 56 members of his posse to help fight illegal aliens. "The Incredible Hulk" star Lou Ferrigno, Steven Seagal, and Peter Lupus are all deputized.

Can you imagine someone meeting "The Incredible Hulk," or Peter Lupus of television's "Mission Impossible?

"Some of the nearly 3,000 people who were already part of Arpaio's volunteer posse had played a support role in earlier immigration patrols."

Why is this necessary? The dangers of drug cartel violence is spilling across our borders in our southern border states. The border is out of control, and criminal illegals are moving north out of those states to deal their drugs and violence all across America. If Sheriff Arpaio, or anyone can stop one criminal from bringing drugs and murder into the United States, he has done his job.

The job is that of the federal government, but border agents are not fully supported by the Obama administration, so Arizona's Sheriff Arpaio has taken to doing it with volunteers like Ferrigno, Seagal, and Lupus.

Doctor Sues Restaurant Over Artichoke - Arturo Carvajal Blames Houston's Restaurant Chain for Severe Pain After Eating Entire Vegetable

A doctor sued a restaurant over an artichoke! Dr. Arturo Carvajal ate an entire artichoke at Houston's in North Miami. Carvajal sued the restaurant claiming wait staff didn't show him the proper way to eat the vegetable. Because of that, Carvajal experienced severe pain afterwards. Dr. Arturo said he had never eaten an artichoke and thought eating the entire vegetable, thistle and all, was the norm!

Carvajal was taken to a hospital where doctors discovered artichoke leaves had lodged within his bowels. Ouch! Needless to say, Carvajal sued the Beverly Hills restaurant chain, Hillstone Restaurant Group, for emotional and physical damages sustained by the ordeal.

In his compliant, Carvajal stated that in his native country of Cuba, it's customary to eat everything on one's plate. When he ordered the artichoke, did he tell the wait staff that he did not know the proper way to eat the vegetable? Perhaps it was his mistake in not telling the wait staff of his ignorance to artichokes. If he ordered it, one would assume he knew how to eat it!

Too bad for him, it's highly doubtful his artichoke lawsuit could win. What do you think about this case?

Avril Lavigne's split with Sum 41 rocker husband Deryck Whibley was easy as pie thanks to a pre-nup. In the divorce, Lavigne  was able to keep her song catalogues, awards and guitars and so did Whibley. Also, Lavigne and Whibley were not entitled to spousal support.

What a surprise! In Hollyweird, more often than not, celebrity divorces usually include nasty battles fought in front of the public. However, Avirl was wise beyond her years to sign a pre-nup. Without the pre-nup, it's a safe bet their divorce proceedings probably wouldn't have gone so smoothly. Lavigne and Whibley married in 2006 and the "Let's Go" singer filed for divorce in October of 2009.

Their marriage ended after three years with Lavignue citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. Interestingly, Eva Longoria is also divorcing after just three years of marriage to Tony Parker. 

Longoria has also cited irreconcilable differences as the reason. Is this jus a coincidence or is there a three-year curse for celebrity couples? Which couple will be next in line to file for divorce this year? Will it be Courtney Cox and David Arquette?

F-22 Wreckage Found in Alaska - Where is Missing Pilot?

The wreckage of an F-22 that went missing on Tuesday night has been found in Alaska. There is a team going on a rescue mission for the pilot about 100 miles north of Anchorage. The Air Force located the apparent wreckage, and the pilot is missing.

F-22 Went Missing While on a Training Mission

The missing F-22 was part of a training mission, and on Tuesday night the plane lost contact with air traffic controllers. The jet was from the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, and it was part of the 3^rd Wing. There was only one pilot on board because that is all the jet carries. The Air Force believes that the pilot could have ejected the wreckage.

Air Force Believes Pilot can Survive

If the pilot did eject, he has a chance of surviving. According to the Air Force, the pilot had done the Arctic survival training, so that is good and leaves some hope for finding the stranded pilot. The rescue team will both ensure that the wreckage is that of the missing F-22, and then they will begin actively searching for the pilot.

This has to be an incredibly difficult time for the pilot’s family and friends. Hopefully the team will find the F-22 wreckage, and they will quickly locate the pilot. Not knowing has to be the worst all around for everyone. Hopefully the pilot ejected and is practicing his survival training. What a tragedy to crash during a training mission.
